Charlie Bear has decided that she only wants to get her diaper changed when her tummy is happily full of milk. Any other time that I change her diaper, she fusses before I even get her on the changing table. I've tried singing, talking, dancing, and playing peek-a-boo to try to make it a fun time with very limited positive results.
One day, Rob and I decided to double team the diaper change. One of us tackled the dirty diaper while the other was on entertainment duty. We started picking up different stuffed animals to try to find a suitable distraction. Nothing really helped until we started playing the singing lamb that Pap and Grandma (Rob's grandparents) sent to Charlotte for Easter. Take a look!
Pap and Grandma live in Pittsburgh, so they recorded a song in this lamb so that Charlotte could hear their voices. Now, any time we have to change a diaper with a tummy that's not full of milk, we make sure we have our lamb close by to help keep us happy. Thanks, Pap and Grandma! We think of you and are extra thankful for your sweet singing with every dirty diaper :)
