Looking back: May and June

Charlotte's fourth and fifth months brought bigger smiles,

more coordinated hands,

stronger muscles (getting ready to roll over),

sillier faces,

more interactive play dates with Owen (notice the sneaky hand holding attempts).

(I had to include this one because their faces make me laugh so much.  Chrissy and I were laughing so hard at how cute they were that we startled them...which made them even cuter!)

and longer laughs!  One night, we were having normal play time with Charlie, and something Rob said made her laugh like crazy.  We tried to use the same phrase over the next couple of days, hoping for the same effect, but it must have been a one-time wonder because she didn't react like she did the first time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-y5nkqHx3GI

I also have to include one video where Charlotte was laughing at me because she is usually laughing at Rob.  The best laughs are at the beginning and end, so you can fast forward the middle if you get bored :) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUZGnvaSds0

Charlotte always loved playing with her mobile.  She started out just looking at it and listening to the music, and later started talking to it and batting at the toys.  We knew she was starting to get a little too big for it when she started doing this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tkt8EH8boA

Over these couple of months, we celebrated our first Mother's Day and Father's Day.  This was the only picture I could find of Charlotte and me from Mother's Day - Charlotte is obviously trying to show how much she loves me and how happy she is that I'm her mommy :)

Rob and Charlotte were so cute on Father's Day!  Charlotte gave Rob her present in a "SuperDad" bag that he is proudly wearing.  Their smiles look so alike in this picture!

Other big milestones during these months were rolling over, starting solid food, and the beginnings of sitting up.  I realized that I already talked about all of those when I first started this blog, so I guess that means we are all caught up.  Thanks for bearing with me while I walked down memory lane.  What a fun lane to walk down :)
