Happy Birthday, Charlotte!

What a beautiful day Charlotte's birthday was!  Come to think of it, I can't remember what the weather was like, but every part of the day felt beautiful because my baby turned one year old.  What an amazing adventure it has been, and continues to be!

Here are a few pictures from her birthday:

We made a pancake breakfast since Charlie had never eaten pancakes before.  Rob was the master chef, and the pancakes were delicious! When we sang Happy Birthday, she liked the flame from the candle more than the pancakes themselves....until she tasted them!

That night, we went out for a celebration dinner.  Charlotte had grapes, chicken, and sweet potato fries, which she loved.  We tried to give her chocolate cake for dessert, but after the first bite, she threw the rest on the floor.  Rob and I enjoyed our portions of chocolate cake for her! :)

We sure do love our birthday girl!  She fills each day with wonder, joy, love, and delight!  What lucky parents we are.  Happy Birthday, Charlie Bear!  We love you more than we can say!
